I did like seeing Bluestar's parents as kits/apprentices though! It was semi interesting, but I honestly doubt there were a lot of people clamoring to hear Goosefeather's backstory. I don't really have much to say about this one. Her actions make sense, but they're still in character with the way she acts in the other books. I was able to completely understand where Mapleshade was coming from. Definitely the best of the three novellas. Man, the Erin's are pretty fantastic at these tragic back stories. ![]() ![]() I've read a few novella collections from the Erins, and I think this might be my favorite.
